- Minimum one year current Emergency Department, Critical Care, or cardiac drip m! anagement experience required.
- Graduated from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills required. Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork and flexibility required. Ability to multi-task and work-through competing priorities required.
- Basic Life Support, Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.
ED staff Nurse-TNCC ( Trauma Nurse Core Course) certification required within one year of completion of unit orientation and is to be maintained. ENPC ( Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) within one year. ACLS ( Advanced Cardiac Life support) within 6 months and maintained. PALS( Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 6 months and maintained.
