ProCare Therapy is looking to hire a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to work on contract with a public school district t! hrough the end of the current school year. This job is located in Grand Island, NE and qualified SLP should have valid Nebraska therapy license.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attend IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other faculty meetings
- Work with other therapists to develop individualized treatment plans for each student in the caseload
- Use appropriate assistive technology as needed
- Maintain records for use by authorized school personnel
- Nebraska therapy license
- ASHA CCC
- Professional schools or pediatric experience
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Start/ end date: ASAP - June 24, 2014
Hours per week: 20 hours
Age group: K-8th grade
Approx. caseload: 23 students
Types of disabilities: Language, articulation, autism
