This position, in collaboration with Pharmacy Management and under the guidance of the Clinical Service Manager, is responsible for the daily management of pharma! cy services in critical care.

Position Responsibilities:
Patient Care: round daily with patient care team, provide oversight for critical care vancomycin consult service, establish and maintain expectations and standards of practice for critical care pharmacy services, staff as needed
Quality: engage in process improvement projects, report metrics for area
Committee participation: including Pharmacy and Therapeutics
Education/Staff Development: provide continuing education, precept students and residents; develop training programs and competency assessments
Fiscal Responsibility: identify and implement cost savings initiatives, assist with medication budget planning each fiscal year
Research: participate in research to advance practice and improve patient care
Leadership: serve as clinical resource for critical care, serve as role model to staff, and oversee daily pharmacy operation! s as it relates to critical care.
PGY1-2

Candidat! e must be a “jack of all trades”, with some experience in Pediatrics, Oncology, ER, and Geriatrics and be clinically sound.
NE license

Education, training, experience:
Pharmacy Degree (B.S. or PharmD) from ACPE accredited college PGY1-2

Registered Pharmacist with valid license in good standing
Read, write, and speak fluent English
Professional appearance and demeanor
Great customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
