Essential Duties:
Assumes personal responsibility for professional development, practice, and education. Maintains a professional and safe work environment.

Assess patient and family needs. Incorporates standards of care and nursing diagnosis to include both observation and body system assessment. Uses the nursing process to provide care based on observation and assessment. Collaborates with patient, family, multidisciplinary team, in assessing care needs.

Collaborates with patient, family, and multidisciplinary team to plan age specific care across the continuum. Includes problem solving, planning, and education as needed! to prevent adverse outcomes.

Responds to changes in ! patient condition utilizing accepted principles of nursing practice. Follow up on internal/external customer concerns according to policy.

Provides for coordination, evaluation and supervision of departmental personnel.

Performs value-added activities that result in positive financial performance and customer satisfaction.

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

Education:
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.

BSN Preferred.

Experience:
3 years RN experience.
2 years Pediatric experience.

Enrolled in Management De! velopment training within 1st year, as available.

Licensure/Certification:
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska.

Current BLS Certification required.

ACLS requried within 6 months.
