PICU - Staff Nurse

Pediatric Services at The Nebraska Medical Center strive to insure seamless, comprehensive, quality care across the health-care continuum. Pediatric Services utilize the family-centered care philosophy and mult! idisciplinary approach in an environment that fosters learning and utilization of evidence to improve practice.
The PICU includes 20 beds with a family-focused wiating area and a physician-family consultation room. Nurse- to-patient ratio is determined by patient acuity and the individual needs of each patient.
Manager stronlgy prefers experience for this position!
Job Requirements:
- Graduated from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills required. Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork and flexibility required. Ability to multi-task and work-through competing priorities required.
- Basic Life Support, Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
