About the HospitalCheyenne Regional Medical Center is Wyoming's largest healthcare system. Licensed at 218 beds, Cheyenne Regional was originally founded in 1867 as a frontier tent hospital. The Medical Center was the first Level II Trauma Center and offers specialties which include a Cancer Center, Heart Center, Orthopedics, Neurological, Vascular and Bariatric Services. The hospital is preparing to go live with EPIC in April 2013. The hospital has also recently redesigned it's Shared Governance model and contemplating a Magnet J! ourney.
About the PositionThis position reports to an extr! aordinary Administrative Director of Inpatient Nursing Services who will mentor and support your career advancement. Enjoy weekly leadership huddles with the Administrative Director and have the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team of 8 other inpatient managers. This position oversees a 16 bed ICU unit and a bright and talented ICU staff of 60 FTE's to include 6 charge nurses. Benefits: $65-105K, relocation assistance, tuition reimbursement program and excellent benefits. Requirements: BSN required, Master's preferred. 3+ years of Critical Care management experience in an acute care hospital setting. Experience over PCU and Telemetry strongly preferred. Must be adept with HCAPS and Core Measures. Experience with the Magnet Journey processes is a plus.
