Description: The Nebraska Medical Center is at the momment seeking for Emergency Room Fellowship - Staff Nurse right now, this vacancy will be designated in Nebraska. Level 1 trauma center with 33 beds-- 13 critical care rooms, 4 trauma rooms, 12 exam rooms and 4 fast track rooms.

Job Requirements:
-

Minimum of one year medical, surgical or telemetry experienc Required.

• Graduated from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
• ED Staff Nurse-TNCC required within one year of completion of unit orientation and is to be maintained. Clinical Decision Unit requires attending smoking Cessation Counseling training within in one year of unit orientation.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills required. Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork and flexibility required. Ability to multi-task and work-through competing priorities required.
• Basic Life Support, Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support! certification required upon completion of unit orientation an! d is to be maintained
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification required within 9 months of completion of unit orientation is to be maintained

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Certified Emergency Nurse Certification preferred. Membership in Emergency Nurses Associates (ENA)
• Clinical Decision Unit: minimum of two years Telemetry experience
