The Division of Hematology/Oncology & Stem Cell Transplantation of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the Children†s Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a full time BC/BE Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologists at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank. Candidates should have a strong background and interest in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.The combined division currently has nine Board Certified Pediatric Hematologist/ Oncologists and an outstanding multi-disciplinary team, performing clinical service, education, and research at the two Children†s Oncology Group member institutions. Excellent opportunities are available for clinical and translational research and collaboration with major interdepartmental programs in lymphoma/leukemia, musculoskeletal oncology, and neuro-oncology. The University of Nebraska Medical Center has a very active joint Pediatric/Internal Medicine FACT accredited stem cell program, and participates in the NCI-funded UNMC Eppley Cancer Center.
