ACUTE CARE/REHAB hospital is looking for a highly motivated and energetic OCCUPA! TIONAL THERAPIST to join the team in their OUTPATIENT REHAB AND HOME HEALTH UNIT. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.

Additional Requirements/Information:
" New Grads welcome
" Prefer experience in acute, acute rehab, hand therapy, outpatient and home health
" Candidates must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a OT and/or registered as a Occupational THERAPIST per NE requirements.

An occupational therapist (OT) is responsible for providing assistance to patients who need help performing a wide variety of activities, especially daily needs (e.g., dressing, cooking, eating, driving, etc.) and motor skills. In addition, occupational therapy requires an OT to perform comprehensive at-home and job-site evaluations, and maintain an open line of communication with patients’ family members and caregivers. They may have a number of specialties, including:
Acute
Hand Home health
Long-term care
Outpatient
Pediatric !
Psychiatric
Rehabilitation
School

Required Qualifications

Requirements:
" Must possess current licensure of certification from State of Nebraska and from AOTA
" Bachelor's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
" BLS
" Driver's License
" Criminal Background Check
" 10 Panel Drug Screen
" MMR, Varicella and Hep B Titers required
" Tdap
" Influenza

Preferred Qualifications

Experience is preferred in acute care, acute rehab, hand therapy, out-patient and home health, but will consider a new graduate.
