The Staffing Liaison is responsible for the staffing and scheduling of private duty and CHHC World patients and per! sonnel according to active authorizations for services and MD orders. The Staffing Liaison serves as the initial point of contact and front access for all CHHC World and Private Duty support services and is largely responsible for the revenue generation of both departments through effective case coordination and staffing. The Staffing Liaison will ensure effective coordination of agency services to meet patient needs while balancing the staffing requests of agency personnel.
Essential Functions/Competencies

Maintains an accurate, master computerized scheduling staffing system for PDN and CHHC World as directed by Private Duty Manager.
Completes master schedule for nursing and Child Care Partner hours per PDN & CHHC World policy and procedures, which includes staffing parental requested patient hours as ordered by MD, authorized by payer sources, and as directed by Manager.
Ensures monthly master schedule is! completed by the 20
th
of previous month an! d all schedules are sent/communicated to patients/families, and agency personnel.
Performs visit verification, ensuring patient visits are scheduled as ordered/needed, resolving scheduling conflicts/issues, utilizing various reports to identify and resolve issues, and communicating a variety of messages to staff and patients.
Ensures that staffing personnel profiles in Access are current and accurate and notifies Team Leaders/Manager of changes (phone numbers, cases orientated to, etc.)
Monitors daily, weekly and monthly required staffing hours/ratios to ensure that authorizations are followed and facility is within required child staff ratios.
Maintains current master schedule and open shift list in the staffing book and computer at all times and communicates open shift availability to all staff.
Works actively and diligently in filling open hours to prevent patient dissatisfaction and to ensure that needs of patients/families a! re met.

Facilitates the daily staffing process and requirements for a large employee and patient base for PDN and CHHC World.
Performs 24/7 staffing coverage, ensuring proper ratios are met at the center and hours staffed in the home are according to authorizations and MD orders.
Enters accurate information from daily assignments/staff hours to include, but not limited to MSR/VSR, ill calls, cancellations, open shifts, tardies and absences; and reports any staffing concerns to Team Leaders/Manager.
Assists in ensuring that staff hours worked are entered correctly in schedules and Kronos.
Coordinates daily report to on-call staff and respiratory with any staffing issues and changes that have occurred or are necessary.
Maintains daily staff and after hour call logs per policy.
Communicates with agency personnel regarding updates or changes with their cases as appropriate.
Participates in on-c! all rotation or as requested by Private Duty Manager.
Complete! s entry of verified MD orders received on PDN and CHHC World patients.
Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: Bachelorâs degree in human services field or equivalent work experience that is typically obtained through a minimum of four years of related work experience.
Experience: In addition to the Bachelorâs degree/related work experience; a minimum of two years experience working with scheduling within a healthcare environment.
Experience with pediatric patients preferred.
Home health experience preferred.
