This individual is responsible for the clinical and professional mentoring of the ED staff.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in nursing required.

Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience required, preferably in pediatrics

Minimum 1 year supervisory or lead experience preferred

Emergency Room experience preferred

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:
Current and valid Nebraska RN license/RN Compact license required

Current and valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Current and valid certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.

Current and valid certification in Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN) or must be able to obtain within 1 year preferred.!

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
